Lady Colin Campbell says, "The mabe and diamond ear clips are staples that I cannot imagine how any woman of style or elegance could do without them in her jewel case.   Whether one is dressed up or down, they are true statement pieces which declare one's taste and chic.

"It is said that pearls are living things which one should nourish by wearing frequently and I make sure that this South Sea necklace is given lots of  human contact.  When I first got it years ago, a necklace of this importance was only ever worn out formally, but happily the custom has changed and now I wear it day or night, formally or informally, with jeans or evening gowns.  It is the ideal complement to just about everything.  It goes with every stone one can think of, adding importance to whatever outfit or jewels one is wearing.  And it does so so subtly that only the cognoscenti realize that one is wearing something truly special. I have been photographed wearing it with the Beregzhasy tiara for Hello magazine and have also been known to wear it into B & Q, the English do-it-yourself building merchants, to pick up cement with my builder.

"I also wear the yellow and white diamond ring a lot.  While I invariably  wear it on my left hand whenever I am wearing the full Queen of Sheba Parure (meaning the tiara as well as everything else),  I often wear it during the day with a variety of other pieces of jewellery, some important, others less so.  The beauty of this ring is that it screams quality to those who can recognize it, but it remains blissfully silent to those who do not appreciate  that yellow diamonds exist or that oxidized  gold is not a cheap metal. So one has the advantage of  recognition from one's peers without the danger that indiscretion could bring in its wake.

"I also get a lot of wear out of the pink and white diamond ring.  Although it is important enough to wear on its own, it too flies under the radar except to the cognoscenti, so one can wear it with alacrity day or night, formally or informally, with jeans or a ball gown, in the certain knowledge that only the discerning will ever realize what one has.  Because it is so safe to wear around town, I often pair it up with the Triple Decker earrings, the square pink diamond ring, and my South Sea graduated pearl necklace when I am going to lunch or dinner.  I suppose it is the equivalent of the sable-lined rain coat - discreet but oh-so-deliciously luxurious."
